Shades of Jade
Shades of Jade is a women's quartet with a passion for barbershop harmony. This quartet consists of four young women in their twenties: Meghan Brueggemann, Heather Krones, Kasey Cox, and Erin Odell who love to harmonize with one another and hope to change lives with the music they make together.
In April 2011, they participated in the annual Sweet Adeline's Region 5 competition and took first place! Shades of Jade will travel to Houston, Texas in October to compete at the Sweet Adelines International Competition! Two of their members, Heather (lead) and Erin (baritone), grew up in the barbershop family, and Erin even went on to direct a men's barbershop chorus at the age of 22. Meghan (tenor) and Kasey (bass) are relatively new to the style of barbershop but have always had a passion for making music and sharing their gift with others. These four girls all came together in January of 2010 and made the decision to dedicate themselves to the pursuit of ringing great barbershop chords.
